Meet Coach Kristin Spillane! The 2026-2027 season marks Coach Kristin’s first season with Loudoun Elite.

Coach Kristin has dedicated 15 years to leading and empowering young athletes across high school, club, and community levels. An accomplished NCAA Division II two-time All-American outside hitter and defensive specialist at NYU, she played her high school and club volleyball in New York City and continues her competitive career today playing with USAV. In addition to coaching in our indoor girls program, Coach Kristin serves as Loudoun Elite’s Boys Indoor Coordinator.

Off the court, Coach Kristin is a full-time Clinical Therapist in Falls Church specializing in adolescents. This background directly shapes her approach as a coach: her primary focus is on creating a positive, safe, and uplifting environment that builds individual skill, confidence, and teamwork. She places heavy emphasis on trust, strong group communication, and overcoming challenges together as a unit. By correlating on-court teamwork, hard work, and continuous improvement directly to emotional well-being and valuable lifelong skills, she develops both strong-minded athletes and highly cohesive teams.

Coach Kristin’s extensive coaching portfolio includes leading the St. Paul VI Catholic High School Boys Varsity team to the 2026 ISBVL Championship, as well as prior roles as Head JV and Assistant Varsity Coach for PVI’s girls’ program and on the coaching staff at Woodson High School. In the club circuit, she has served as Head Coach for Vienna Elite Volleyball Club (U15s & U17s Travel Teams) and Libero Volleyball Club (U16s & U17s). A leader in youth development, she founded the Saint Timothy School Volleyball program (4th–8th grade) in 2020, directs summer skills camps, and serves as both CYO Coordinator and Assistant Director of CYO Volleyball for the Diocese of Arlington.
