SOPHIA DENAYER

Coach Sophia played for Loudoun Elite for her U16U and U17/18 seasons. During her high school volleyball career at Stone Bridge as an outside hitter, coach Sophia led her team to win the Class 5 2021 State Championship her senior year. For that season, she was awarded the number one spot on the team in serve receive rating. She continued her volleyball endeavors at Dickinson College, a division 3 school, where she became a starting outside hitter as a freshman. As a first year, she played a pivotal rule in securing Dickinson a spot in play offs for the first time in almost 15 years.

Currently, coach Sophia attends George Mason University and plays on the Women’s Club Volleyball team. She additionally volunteers as a manager for the the D1 Women’s Volleyball team. Coach Sophia is enthusiastic to be going into her first year of coaching club during the 2023-24 season with Loudoun Elite. She hopes to spread her knowledge of the game, inspire young athletes to achieve their dreams, and refine their skills.
