Coach Taylor Joyner joins Loudoun Elite for the 2025-2026 season. She brings over 10 years of experience including club, high school, and collegiate volleyball experience. She strives to institute leadership and athletic excellence to her coaching role. A 2020-2021 graduate of Rock Ridge High School, she was honored as Female Athlete of the Year during her senior year, setting the tone for an impressive collegiate volleyball career.

As a freshman at Ferrum College during the 2021-2022 season, she quickly made her mark on and off the court. She recorded 209 kills, 248 digs, and 249 points, earning a spot on the ODAC All-Academic Team. Her sophomore season in 2022-2023 saw a breakout performance. Playing as a six-rotation outside hitter, she had 341 kills (3rd in the ODAC), 286 digs (11th in the ODAC), 380.5 points (3rd in the ODAC), and 61 blocks (2nd on the team). Her exceptional play earned her a Third Team All-ODAC selection, marking not only her first ODAC honor but also making her the first Ferrum College player to receive league honors since the school joined the ODAC in 2018. She was also named to the ODAC All-Academic Team in 2023.

Coach Taylor continued her athletic journey at Roger Williams University, where she competed as an outside hitter for both her junior and senior years. Her senior year concluded with a selection to the 2024 All-Conference Third Team (CNE), highlighting her consistent excellence and dedication to the game throughout her collegiate career.

In addition to her accomplishments as a player, Coach Taylor has a year of coaching experience at the Northern Virginia Volleyball Association (NVVA), where she worked with athletes ranging from elementary school to high school, coaching both girls and boys. Her ability to connect with players of all ages and skill levels has quickly made her a respected figure on the court and a valuable asset to any program.

She now brings her passion, experience, intensity and competitive edge to the coaching world, inspiring the next generation of athletes with the same drive and commitment that defined her own playing days.
