Coach Haley Sutton joins Loudoun Elite in the 2025-2026 season. She began playing volleyball in middle school and played club for Williamsburg Volleyball Club and Coastal Hampton Roads Volleyball Club. From 2015-2019, she played at Grafton High School where she earned ESMARK All-American, All-State, All-Region, and All-Conference honors. She led Grafton to multiple conference, regional, and state championships where she is a 3-time state runner-up.

In college from 2019-2024, Coach Haley played at Virginia Wesleyan University (NCAA D3). She competed in many ODAC Tournaments, including 1 championship and NCAA Tournament matches in 2019. Haley received multiple all-conference, all-regional, and all-academic honors. She also has accomplished multiple VWU records including most sets and games-played in a career, career assists, and 1st for career aces and aces in a match. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics with a minor in psychology. Then, received her Master’s of Secondary Education during her 5th year of competing in 2023-2024.

While in college Haley coached for two seasons with Coastal Hampton Roads Volleyball Club (U15) including their indoor and beach program, then for three seasons with Beach Elite Volleyball Club (U17). Being originally from the 757, in 2024, Haley moved to Loudoun County where she is the current Head Varsity Coach at Independence High School. She received All-Loco Coach of the Year in 2024 and led Indy to their first ever state tournament appearance and to the state-semifinals. Coach Haley is continuously aiming to grow the mental and technical skills of the players she coaches while also assisting them in their recruitment journey!
