Coach Everangel Morales, known as Coach Morales, joins Loudoun Elite for the 2025-2026 season. He has been dedicated to volleyball since 1987 as a player and since 1992 as volleyball coach. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, he played for various teams in middle and high school also representing his town.
Coach Morales has over 30 years of coaching experience in Puerto Rico and Virginia. He has worked with players of all ages, from youth to professional leagues. In 2004, he founded “Voliclub Yaucano” in Yauco, Puerto Rico, dedicated to developing players (girls and boys) ages 9 to 16. In 2010, he founded the “Pirates Volleyball Club” in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, focusing on player development for ages 6 to 14.
Since moving to Virginia in 2017, he has coached middle and high school teams for various clubs, including AVA, Vienna Elite Volleyball Club, Paramount Volleyball Club and Virginia Juniors. He has held positions at Trinity Christian School and Chantilly High School in Freshman, JV and Varsity teams with a strong emphasis on developing players’ skills and fundamentals.
Coach Morales is a Physical Education teacher with twenty-nine (29) years of experience in public and private schools and has a Master in Secondary Physical Education. Currently he is a teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools.
