QUINTIN COATES (Q)

Coach Q, a native of Leesburg, VA, brings over six years of experience in high school and travel volleyball to Loudoun Elite. He began his coaching career at Rock Ridge High School, where he worked with all three teams (frehsmen, junior varsity and varsity) and served as the head coach for junior varsity. Alongside his role at Rock Ridge, he coached club volleyball, starting with the younger age groups (11-15) before advancing to the U17 level. In his first year with Loudoun, Coach Q led the U17 team to an AAU Nationals title.

Coach Q joined Loudoun Elite for the first time in the season 2022-2023, and now in his third season, he will be leading the U15 travel team. He also serves as the varsity head coach at Heritage High School. Known for his ability to foster team chemistry, especially with newly developed teams, Coach Q has been recognized across multiple programs for his leadership. This year, he aims to continue shaping the younger generation of athletes by building both their mentality and technical skills.
